He is survived by: his children, Tracy Jones (Drew), John Gregory Briggs (Wendy) and Albert Lawson Briggs, Jr. (Laura); and his sisters, Renee Compton and Patty Briggs. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
