She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Covington and Mozelle Warner Covington; her husband Larry Eugene "Gene" Burroughs; her grandson Joey Gross; and her siblings, Alton, Oswald Covington, Josephine Russell and Ardele Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Beth Hall (John) of Mount Gilead; her grandsons, Sean Gross and Dakota Davis; and her siblings, Curtis Covington (Belle) of Candor, Shirley Blake (Don) of Troy and Vicki Ochtyun (John) of Ellerbe.
