He was predeceased by: his parents, G. T., Jr. Haywood and Josephine Parsons Haywood; and his brother Ronald Wayne Haywood. He is survived by: his close friend Gertie Swaringen of Norwood; and his siblings, Frances Freeman of Mt. Gilead, Tilman Haywood of Mt. Gilead, Bobby Haywood of Mt. Gilead, Garry Haywood (Debbie) of Mt. Gilead, David Haywood (Michelle) of Mt. Gilead and Chuck Haywood (Lisa) of Mt. Gilead. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
