He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey Greene; his parents, Archie Rufus Greene and Nettie Elizabeth Sanders; and his siblings, Rufus Leslie Benton, George Luther Greene, Pearline Seago and Evelyn Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his grandchildren, Travis (Kristen), Hillary (Justin), April (Evan), Brian (Rylee) and Mallory (Brett). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
