With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Johnson of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Ernest; and his siblings, Ronald Johnson and Phyllis Johnson Blazer. He is survived by : his wife Gwen Johnson of Kings Mountain; his children, Shad Johnson (Melissa), Teresa Johnson and Jennifer Johnson; his stepdaughter Nicole Miller; his grandchildren, Ashley Gainey, Kiersten Johnson, Shad Johnson, Jr. and Maddalyn Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Sam and Erica Robert; and his friends, Donnie Pearson and Richard Sammons.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Anthony Grove Baptist Church (100 Anthony Grove Rd, Crouse, NC 28033).
