She was predeceased by: her father Luther Durant; and her siblings, Johnny, Vernon, Bobby McKinnon, Kathleen Coble and Lois Herrin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Frix Rumple of Mount Gilead and Katie Ruth Hough of Lancaster, SC; and her sister Blanche Frix of Mount Gilead. She is also survived by two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
