He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Gilmore and Mary Brooks Dunn; his daughter Donna Willets; his son-in-law Patrick Parks; and his siblings, Ralph Dunn, Helen Smith, Brenda Dennis and Shirley Manness.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Thompson Dunn; and his children, Lonnie Dunn of Albemarle, Rick Miller of Star, Jeff Miller of Mount Gilead, Rhonda Dunn of Mount Gilead, Sue Parks of Mount Gilead and Toni Milligan of Ash. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren. 43 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
