With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mozelle Burroughs (Mount Gilead, North Carolina), who passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Smith; her husband Clyde Burroughs Jr.; and her sisters, Ruby Thompson and Addie B. Morrow. She is survived by: her children, Karen Lowder (George) of Richfield and Kevin Burroughs (Karen) of Mt. Gilead; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Deese, Eric Lowder, Cole Burroughs and Trent Burroughs.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to: Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries, 960 N First Street, Albemarle NC 28001.
