It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred McRae (Mount Gilead, North Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland and Alice Burris Eudy; her son Jerry Samuel McRae; her daughter-in-law Soundra Harris McRae; and her siblings, Ruth Smith, Nellie Hearne, James, Fred, Claude, Ralph and Dewell Eudy.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Alexander "Shorty" McRae; her son Danny "Whitey" McRae of Mt. Gilead; her grandchildren, Michelle McRae Millen (Bruce) of Mt. Gilead and Ken Alexander McRae (Christy) of Mt. Gilead; and her great grandchildren, Robert Tyler Yarboro, Abigail Lea Yarboro and Gage Alexander McRae.
