It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona Dennis of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Cecil and Mary Cecil Thompson; her son Clarence Lee Dennis; and her husband Walter B. Dennis. She is survived by: her daughter Nelda Dennis of Mount Gilead, NC; her grandchildren, Tonya Clark of Florida, Jimmy Dennis of Shelby, NC and Terry Dennis; her great-niece Summer Cross (Tim) of Alaska; her sisters, Nellie Dixon and Ruby Louise Thompson; and also, Addyson and Abram. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
