He is survived by: his grandson Terry (Jesse); his children, Rodney Tillman (Sharon), Marcus Crump, Anissa Spinks, Sonya Mills and Terry Spinks III; his grandchildren, Brittany Letterlough, Dominiqes Snuggs (Donald), Carrinton Mills (Shanice), Anthony Smith, Jr., Taylor Spinks, Sanaaya Spinks, Evelyn Pauley, Deaunte Toliver, Taadamika Crump and Marcus Crump, II; his sister Harriet McLendon Coxe (Robert Coxe) of Charlotte; and his nephews, Robert Coxe (Bobby) of Charlotte, Keith Duncan (Marcell) of Charlotte, William Ellerbe, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Charles Ellerbe (Tracy) of Charlotte and Anthony McLendon of Monroe. He is also survived by cousins, family and friends.
