He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leon Harkey and Mary Sue Harkey Rowe. He is survived by: his wife Janis Harkey; his children, Aaron Harkey (Heather), Daniel Harkey (Elizabeth), Jonathan Harkey (Bailey) and Shelly Snipes (Joel); his siblings, Roy Rowe (Jan), Nancy Fortner (Dwight) and Virginia Putnam (Alfred); and his grandchildren, Blaine, Kolby, Levi, Lukas, Ivie, Owen, Brayden, Braxton and Riley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
