He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Alvin and Opal Parker Greene. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Greene of Troy, Rhonda Thompson of Mt. Gilead, Debra Roberts of Mt. Gilead, David Shaffey of Oakboro and Joshua Greene of Texas; and his siblings, Joyce Rouse of Troy, Janice Greene of Troy, Shirley Blankenship of Mt. Gilead, Patty Greene of Star, Donna Casteen of Troy, Roger Greene of South Carolina, Billy Ray Greene of Star and Johnny Greene of Kannapolis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
