She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Jenkins and Mary Haywood Jenkins; and her husband Dewey Swaringen. She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Swaringen of Ellerbe and Darrell Swaringen of Ellerbe; her granddaughters, Heather Swaringen and Amanda Cloninger; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Harper; and her brother Robert Jenkins.
