He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin Forrest and Lucille Mauldin Forrest; and his wife Beaver Forrest. He is survived by: his children, Kent Forrest (Belinda) of Advance, NC and Kendra Hope Melton, Jr. (Michael) of Mt. Gilead, NC.; and his brother Phillip Forrest (Paula) of Denton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
