She is survived by: her husband Fred Douglas Bruton; her children, Janette Jackson (Samuel) of Apex and Douglas Bruton (LaDeborah) of Charlotte; her brother Monroe Leake (Neise) of Albemarle; and her great grandchildren, LaTonya Little (Lacy) of Knoxville, TN, Portia McDonald of Apex, Shakeia McGuire of Raleigh, Farah, Fairley Bowden of Temple, TX, Adacia Bruton, Chase Bruton and Princeton Bowden. She is also survived by nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends.
