It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Wilder of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 95, on July 6, 2024. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Garland Wilder and Gladys Cook Wilder; his wife Alice Lee Lefler Wilder; his daughter Jennifer Sue Wilder; and his brothers, James H. Wilder and Bob A. Wilder.
He is survived by: his daughter Alane Wilder Brown (Steven Brown); and his grandchildren, Taylor Dansby Brown of Monroe and Georgia. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
