He is survived by: his wife Amy Seawell Dennis; his stepdaughter Cherryl Tyson of Troy; his daughters, Samantha Dennis and Sarah Dennis of Mt. Gilead; his nieces, Letitia Dennis-Boger (Jeff), Kim Birdsong (Ray) of Mocksville and Lori Valkanas of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Dixie, Reagan and Carter.
