He was predeceased by: his brother Grady Hardin; and his nephews, Johnny Prevatte and Jimmy Prevatte. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Hardin of Mt. Gilead, NC; his daughters, Allison H. Walters (Keith) of Raeford and Kimberly H. Michael (Ronald) of Raeford; his grandchildren, Jordan Walters, Hope Walters, Austin Hartgrove, Peyton Hartgrove, Travis Michael and Zach Michael; and his nieces and nephews, Robyn Hardin Moore (Derek), Faye Prevatte Bramlett (Jim), Grady Hardin Jr. (Eve) and Robert Prevatte (Joyce).
