She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Comer and Doris Hall Comer; and her son Benjamin Scott Haywood. She is survived by: her husband Tilman Haywood; her children, Rodney Haywood (Tiffany) and Jessie Whittington (Lance); her grandchildren, Ayrika Smith (Caleb), Ashlyn Hill (Kenneth), Peanut Grant (Duncan), Chance Whittington (Josie), Chase Whittington, Natalie Haywood, Anna Haywood and Jase Haywood; and her great grandchildren, Sweet Pea Grant, Clyde Smith, Cleo Smith, Jolie Hill and John Daniel Hill.
