He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jerome Airington; his children, John Kevin Airington (Anna) of Badin, Miranda Grace Airington of Mt. Gilead and William Rufus Moore of Marshville; his grandchildren, Nathen Vaughn of Kayla, T. J. and Tanner Moore; his siblings, Donald Airington (Kathy), Clara Napier (Bob), Jane Davis (Jon) and Vicky Drye (Larry); and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
