It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Fox (Mount Gilead, North Carolina), born in Troy, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Reynolds and Lena Reynolds (Crisco). She is survived by: her children, Donna Smith (Wesley) of Archdale, NC and Dennis Batten (Tammy) of Troy; her brother Jimmy Reynolds of Troy; and her stepchildren, Terry Fox, Donna Braswell and Georgia Sexton. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Due to the guidelines during the COVID 19 virus, her body will lie in state from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Twin Harbor Worship Center, 220 Deer Park Road, Mt. Gilead, NC 27306.
