Betty Oliver Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Oliver of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Oliver to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Sudye Ferrell DeJarnette; her husband Don Allen Oliver; her brother W. E. DeJarnette Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Wendy Haithcock Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Oliver (Mindy) of Kure Beach and Anne Oliver Evans (Bruce) of Mt. Gilead; her grandchildren, Austin Oliver (Ashley) of Cary, Daniel Oliver of Cary, Maribeth Evans Leonard (Robert) of Raleigh and Rebecca Evans Pittman (Michael) of Sylva; and her great grandchildren, Jane Oliver, Mary Oliver, Charlie Oliver, Sam Oliver and Oliver Leonard.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (100 N Main St, Mt Gilead, NC 27306). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
