With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Forrest of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ray Eury, Sr. and Julia Isabelle Carpenter Eury; and her brothers, Bill and Willie. She is survived by: her husband Garry Thomas Forrest; her children, Kent Forrest (Belinda) of Advance and Kendra Hope Melton (Michael) of Mt. Gilead; her sister Diane Roberson of Columbia, SC; and her sister-in-law Marie Eury of Gastonia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
