He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Ross Haithcock and Jettie Faye Harris Haithcock; his siblings, Jettie Ross Haithcock and Jimmy Reid Haithcock; and his niece Jennifer Wilder.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Haithcock; his daughters, Amy Morton (Wilmington), Julie Curren (Greensboro) and Lee Ann Haithcock; his nephews, Bill Lefler, Champ Lefler, Jeff Lefler, Jimbo Haithcock, Johnny Haithcock, Mitch Lefler and Marc Lefler; his niece Alane Wilder Brown; his cousin Albert Haithcock; and his grandsons, Jonathan Curren, Benton Morton and Jackson Morton.
