She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Herman Batchelor and Annie Victoria Dennis Batchelor; and her half-sister Carolyn Brinson Caudill. She is survived by: her husband Danny Alton Currie; her son Leslie Aaron of Albemarle, NC; her sister Retha Batchelor Farmer of Norwood, NC; and her half-siblings, Johnny Brinson of Rockwell, NC and Jewell Brinson of Albemarle, NC. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
