It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zella Blackburn of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Lafayette and Myrtle Lee Snow Easter; her husband Harley Ray Blackburn; and her sister Hazel Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Blackburn, Britta Hall (Charles), Dolores Burtnett (Thomas), Wanda Sumner (Tony) and Barbara Blackburn; her grandchildren, Hoyt Hall (Kendra), Annette Reece (Bryan), Nicholas Cooper and Payton Parker; and her great grandchildren, Bailey Hall, Laiken Reece and Ella Reece.
