He is survived by: his spouse Betty McMillian Tate; his grandchildren, Chris Vaughn, Adam Vaughn (April), Ashley Reece (Brian), Michael Boyd, Amber Bowman (Blake), Emily Canosa (Adam), Evan Pruitt, Mason Franklin, Andrew Tate (Jade), Joshua Tate (Courtney), Daniel Tate (Taylor), Eli Tate, Bailee Newsome, Isaac Phipps and Adison Phipps; his sister-in-law Nancy Tate; and also, Sheila Boyd, Karen Pruitt (Ernie), Cindy Franklin, Darrell Tate (Tina), Darren Tate (Stephanie) and Shannon Phipps (Chad).
