He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Aldridge and Susie Forbes Pendleton; his wife Rebecca Anne Beasley Pendleton; and his siblings, Susan P. Ashby, Rena P. Hollingsworth, Marion Meyer, Robert Pendleton, Jake Pendleton and Irene Forbes Marion (Butch).
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn "Kitty" Pendleton Martin, William B. Pendleton (Janice Frye) and Benjamin F. Pendleton (Tammy); his grandchildren, Emily Shute (Kevin), Susie Cooke (Brandon), Shelby Heath (Brandon), Benjamin Cook, Josh Cook and Allyson Smith (Larry); and his great grandchildren, Addison Shute, Everett Shute, Drew Cooke, Conor Cooke, Jessica Cooke, Steele Smith and Shelly Redmond.
