It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Chandler (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Marion Chandler and Jessie Marie Crissman Chandler; his wife Lillian Poteat Chandler; his son Ricky Chandler; and his siblings, Hassie Marie Chandler Utt, Ralph Chandler, Jack Chandler and Dennis Chandler.

He is survived by: his sister Donna Faye Chandler Beal; and his nephew Jerry Utt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
