She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Franklin Nichols, Jr. and Verna Key Nichols. She is survived by: her husband Harry Gable Atkins; her children, Jeffrey, Donna Scott of Mount Airy, Jason Scott, Brian Burton of Greensboro, Jesseca and Adam Tilley of Mount Airy; her granddaughter MaKayla Leazott; her great grandchildren, Jacob Tilley of Mount Airy and Jeremiah Tilley of Mount Airy; her brother Larry Joe; her sister-in-law Rose Nichols of Mount Airy; and her niece Brittney Sands (Jordan) of Mount Airy. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
