He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Phillips and Opal Lannie Hawks Phillips; and his brothers, Thomas Phillips, Arlis Phillips and Kenneth Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Elizabeth Bennett Phillips; his sons, Ken Phillips (Ann Katherine Llewellyn), Kemp (Lisa Phillips) and Kent (Amy Phillips); his grandchildren, Logan Phillips, Carter Phillips, Kemp Phillips, Jr., Grace Phillips, Bitty Phillips, Kentlee Phillips and Karson Phillips; and his sister Judy Atkinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
