We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2023, at the age of 74, Tony Gray Knott of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley; his wife Betty Lue Cromer Knott; and his brother John Wayne Knott. He is survived by: his children, Michele Knott and Gray Knott; his daughter-in-law Angie; his grandchildren, Leslie Knott Simpson, Logan, Andrew Knott and Madison; and his great grandchild Naomi Simpson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
