She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert M. Hazelwood Sr., Rosa Irene M. Hazelwood, Shirley H. Shockley and Virginia L. Shockley; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Hazelwood.
She is survived by: her parents, John Wayne and Carolyn Shockley Hazelwood; her husband Ryan Embry; her daughter Madison Embry (Will Meyer); her grandchildren, Ella Embry and Wyatt Meyer; and her siblings, Misty Scritchfield, Dillon Shockley (Sarah), Tony Hazelwood (Tammy), Johnny Hazelwood (Tara) and Chad Hazelwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many, many special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
