She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland and Emma Parker Smith; her husband Maynard Lee Easter; and her siblings, Virginia Smith Beck, Sophia Smith Hawks, Edith Smith Ward, Lou Ellen Smith Midkiff, Kathleen Smith Welborn, Treva Smith Cockerham, James "Herman" Smith, Persey Harold Smith and Robert Eugene Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Easter Conley (Marion "Chicken"), Cindy Easter Bassett (Kim "Bear") and Phillip Easter (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Melissa Cline (Joey), Corey Easter (Jennifer), Elijah Leftwich (Rose) and Billy Dean Strausser; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Haddie, Ian, Dakota, Caleb and Leah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
