He was predeceased by: his wife Gaynell Davis Dancy. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lee Dancy Jr., Eli, Zeb, Walker and Alisha Dancy-Brown (Andrew); his grandchildren, Andrew Gray of Mount Airy, Beau of Mount Airy and Isabella Alexis "Bella" Brown of Mount Airy; his sister Margaret Mast of Lexington; his brother-in-law Mack Mast of Lexington; his husband Faye O'Neal of Dobson; his nieces and nephews, Paige Ellis Zawatsky (Alan), Amy Thorne (Cory), Chris O'Neal and Donald Davis; and also, Angela Stroup and Fred O'Neal of Dobson. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law and their wives, Donald Gray Davis, Sr. and Janice Davis of Dobson, and Larry Ray and Theresa Davis of Mount Airy; a sister-in-law.
