He is survived by: his mother Virginia Mae Freeman Cave; his wife Deborah "Debbie" Butcher Cave; his daughter Oshen Wallin; his son-in-law Jonathan; his son Dr. Justin Sands; his daughter-in-law Dr. Danelle Fourie; his grandchildren, Caden Wallin, Kyleigh Wallin and Tyler Wallin; his son Matthew McMillian; his sister Lydia Johnson; his brother-in-law Jimmy; his brother Chris Cave; his sister-in-law Lisa; and his father-in-law Thomas Butcher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church (359 Haystack Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
