He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Thomas (Brickell) and Mable Alene Amburn Brickell; and his siblings, Bonita Hull and Tommy Brickell. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Bingman; his son Kevin Brickell (Robin); his daughter-in-law Jerry Bingman (Penny); his granddaughters, Ashley Bingman and Madyson Holder (Nate); and his sister Teresa Brickell (Denise Stanfield). He is also survived by his fur baby "Tink"; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Ivy Green Baptist Church (818 Old Lowgap Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
