We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2022, at the age of 30, Taylor John Welch of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Billy Ray Hiatt, James Welch, Sr. and Ann Welch. He is survived by: his parents, James Edmond Welch of Mount Airy and Lisa Hiatt Whisenhunt; his wife Allison Renee Puckett Welch; his stepfather Wayne Whisenhunt of Mount Airy; his siblings, Zackary Welch of Hendersonville, Johannes Arnold of Mount Airy and Yana Welch (Colton Wuchner) of Ararat, VA; his stepsiblings, Amber Whisenhunt of Floyd, VA and Justin Whisenhunt of Mount Airy; his grandmother Judy Hiatt of Mount Airy; his stepgrandparents, Roy and Dianne Whisenhunt of Mocksville; his parents-in-law, Dean and Ginger Puckett of Mount Airy; his siblings-in-law, Trista Tyson of Mount Airy, Amber Puckett of Dobson, Cody Stevens of Mount Airy and Preston Stevens of Mount Airy; his nieces and nephews, Cannon Wuchner, Reid Price, Rayedan Price, Jordan Galvan-Moreno, Christopher Galvan-Moreno, Aysia Edwards, Tyler Stevens, Madison Stevens, Natalie Stevens, Evelyn Stevens, Benjamin Stevens, Lucas Tyson, Hailey Puckett and Emma Tyson; and his pets, Mack, Kuzma and Luna. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
