Sylvia Lichvar Mayer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Lichvar Mayer (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Hiatt and Velma S. Hiatt of Mount Airy; her siblings, Pat Tesh and Jake Hiatt; and her husbands, Andrew Lichvar and William F. Mayer.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Cathy Lichvar), Joel (Paulette Lichvar), John (Sandra Lichvar) and Larry (Amanda Lichvar). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as four stepsons and a stepdaughter.
