She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bumgarner and Betty Bumgarner; her husband Wayland Sasser; and her brother John Bumgarner. She is survived by: her son Wade; her daughter-in-law Patricia Stover of Cana, Virginia; her grandsons, Joshua (Summer Stover), Jacob (Erin Melton), Gabriel Melton of Cana and Titus Stover of Cana, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Chloe Harp, Madison Harp, Raelynn Harp and Forrest Stover; her sister Carol; her brother-in-law Dave Cowder of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania; and her close friend Brittany Lyman.
