He was predeceased by: his parent Winston Coley; and his sisters, Frances (Herman Vaughn), Ruth (Lester Gordon) and Bonnie Miller. He is survived by: his parent Sallie Etta Stone Venable; his brother-in-law Thomas Miller of Walnut Cove; his nieces, Linda, Bonita, Angela and Jane; and his nephew Jerry.
