Stephen Larry Norman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Larry Norman of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fred and Kathleen McCraw Norman; and his brothers-in-law, Troy Hardy and L. H. Hawks. He is survived by: his fiancée Martha Gardner Hall; his children, Mollie Norman Tompkins (Buddy), Jed Stephen Norman (Alicia) and Zeb Harlie Norman; his grandchildren, Clay Stephen Tompkins, Josie Lynn Tompkins, Emma Kate Norman and Gavin John Norman; his siblings, Faye Norman Ruby (Joe), John Fred Norman, Jr. (Brenda) and Jack Norman; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Grey Hawks and Joyce Grey Hardy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
