We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2020, at the age of 75, Stella Hawks (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Johnson and Elizabeth McHone Johnson; her son Ricky Dean White; and her brother Billy Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Dean Hawks; her children, Katherine Galyean of Mount Airy, Amanda of Mount Airy and Jake Hooker of Mount Airy; her stepchildren, Tammy, Robert Beck of Mount Airy, Greg Edwards of Pilot Mountain, Rodney and Angie Hawks of Mocksville; her grandchildren, Austin, Kaytee Isaacs, Jacob, Tamara Galyean, Corey, Sophie Galyean, Laken Edwards, Savana Edwards, Wyatt Hooker, Hannah Hooker and Reid Hooker; and her siblings, Patsy Amburn of Mount Airy and Eddie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
