He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clinton Rose and Pearl Tolbert Rose; and his grandson Jason King. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ray Scott Rose; his sons, Kenneth Rose of Raleigh and Michael Rose (Lisa); his grandson Harrison of Greensboro; and his daughter Susan R. Vincent of Raleigh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
