She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Tate and Lola Utt Tate; her daughters, Lena Pavlisak and Sheila Smith; her stepdaughter Anita Bolt; and her brothers, Howard and Roy.
She is survived by: her husband Paul "Gilbert" Bolen; her son Jeff Bolen; her stepchildren, Tammy Turner and Carl Bolen; her grandchildren, Teddy (Shannon Bolen), Mikey Goins and Eli Bolen; her great grandchildren, Cyrus Bolen and Orion Bolen; and her siblings, Helen, Carolyn, Linda, Donnie and Clarence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
