She was predeceased by: her parents, C. G. Nichols and Mary Lou Newgent; and her husband Bobby Gray Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Vicki; her son-in-law Stewart R. Mauck; her sons, Lane (Sheila Smith) and Terrell (Tammy Smith); her grandchildren, Shane, Emily Mauck, Derick, Brooke Mauck, Candace and Jonathan Pettus; her great grandchildren, Kathlyn Mauck, Cooper Mauck, Gabe Mauck, Emersyn Pettus, Aaron Mauck, Liam Mauck and Jude Mauck; her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Taylor.
