She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Jessee Mendenhall and Cora Elizabeth Bledsoe Mendenhall; and her siblings, Edith Lawson, Mary Lumpkins, Ella Mae Bowen, Bradley Mendenhall, Charlie Mendenhall, George Mendenhall, Ralph, Lloyd and Lewis Claudy Mendenhall.
She is survived by: her husband Paul James McPherson; her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law Todd Goodson; her grandchildren, Emily (Chris Edwards) and Katlin (Russell Reynolds); and her great grandchild Adeline Reynolds.
The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. the family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
