She is survived by: her son Joshua Dean Compton (Brittney) of Vinton, Virginia; her grandchildren, Riley Johnathon Compton and Kaeleigh Grey Compton; her siblings-in-law, Fay Compton Harlow and Jay; her close friends, David, Yvonne Parker, Maxine, Joe Wright and Sherri Brintle; and also Dana Lynn Brunk of Thaxton, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
