She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Carlos and Audrey Quesinberry Vernon. She is survived by: her caregivers, Delores Hill (Roger) and Amy Haynes (Gray); her aunts and uncles, Claudia Browning, Labenia Benfield, Jewel Hutchens, Alfred Vernon (Marie) and Roy Hiatt (Jane); and her close friends, Anne Haynes, Barbara Riley and Sandy Atkins.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care or to the charity of the donor's choice.
